This scholarship is open to all eligible AWPA members and may be used for fixed wing, rotary wing, gliding or balloon flight. Examples of the intended use include initial twin, tail wheel, constant speed, retractable, float plane, GPS or aircraft type endorsements, Flight Review, PPL or CPL training, Private Instrument rating (PIFR), and cross country gliding rating.
Note: This scholarship is not intended to be used to obtain a Command Instrument Rating (CIR), Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) or Night Visual Flight Rules rating (NVFR).
Applicants must have held AWPA membership for at least 12 months.
Value: $2,500 on a dollar-for-dollar basis
