The Association has members throughout Australia, aged from 16 to 90 years. They range from pre-solo students to commercial pilots with more than 10,000 hours each. Full membership is open to any female pilot who holds or has held a Pilot's Licence. Student membership is open to any female student pilot for a maximum of two years. Junior membership is open to any female under the age of 18 with an interest in aviation; it does not entitle the member to voting rights.
Membership can be junior, student or full, depending on your level of involvement in aviation. All categories are open to females only.
Junior Member has an interest in flying and is under 18 years of age.
Student Member is one who is in flight training.
Full Member holds the appropriate licence or certificate to fly an aeroplane, helicopter, glider, balloon, ultralight or paraglider.
Associate Member is a female who is not eligible for any other membership class and whose interest lies in aviation.
Membership subscriptions are due on the 1st of September each year. A member joining from March through to August pays half the current subscription.
