In 2010 the AWPA will be celebrating its 60th year. Forget the gold - join us for a fabulous diamond-studded celebration!

The conference will be held from Wednesday 17th March to Sunday 21st March, 2010.

The next AGM will be held on Saturday 20 March 2010.

For forward planning purposes, please be aware that next year's air navigation trial will be held on THURSDAY morning the 18th of March 2010. This date commemorates the 100-year anniversary of powered flight in Australia. You can read more about the flight here.

The Conference Headquarters is the Mercure Ballarat Hotel & Convention Centre, Ballarat. This hotel is opposite the famous tourist attraction, Sovereign Hill. Some other accommodation alternatives can be found here.

How do I get to Ballarat? The city of Ballarat is only a 75 minute drive from the centre of Melbourne, or one hour from Tullamarine Airport. There is a shuttle bus from Melbourne airport to Ballarat.Of course Ballarat has its own excellent airport for those flying themselves.
